The Maybank Championship is a golf tournament, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour, to be played annually in Malaysia. The inaugural tournament was played from 18–21 February 2016 at Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur.[1] In 2017 and 2018, it was played at Saujana Golf and Country Club. It has a purse of US$3,000,000.
From 1999 through 2015, the European and Asian tours had co-sanctioned the Malaysian Open, of which Maybank had been the title sponsor from 2006 to 2015.
