Maya also known as Maayaa (Eng: Invincible) (Tamil: மாயா) is a 2018 Indian multilingual supernatural television drama that is currently premiered on 9 July 2018 on Sun TV, Gemini TV, Surya TV and Udaya TV channels on different time slots.^[1] This show marks the second South Indian serial after Nandini to be aired in 4 South Indian languages (Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu) by Sun Network channels allocated on different time periods.^[2] It is claimed that the show is the second biggest budgeted series on South Indian television and the third overall mass budgeted TV series on Indian television after Naagini and Nandini.^[3] Ajay, Ponmagal Vanthal fame Ayesha and Nakshatra Srinivas play the main protagonists of the series while few popular Tamil film artists including Manobala, Singamuthu and Vincent Asokan have also been added to the cast in prominent roles.^[4] The series is directed by Nanda Kumar and produced by Tamil film director Sundar C. along with his wife, actress Kushboo who are also currently working as the producers for the Nandini TV series.^[5]

The show airs every Monday to Saturday at 7:00 pm (IST) on Sun TV and Monday to Friday at 8:00 pm (IST) on Gemini TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 pm (IST) on Surya TV and Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm (IST) on Udaya TV in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada respectively.^[6]

Plot

The story begins with an eagle flying into a palace and leaving a message written on an "Olai" which is then discovered by Bhadra Manobala who reads and correctly interprets the message that states the return of his guru known as Rana Maayan who is coming tonight to the palace after about 2000 years of being in meditation. Bhadra started to get worried about this. Bhadra's wife who noticed his worrisome attitude inquired him about the matter that is worrying him too much to which Bhadra tells what was written on the "Olai" to his wife and states that his guru is an extremely angry person so he has to make the appropriate preparation before his guru arrives to the palace. His wife who was a bit careless asked him what will his guru's anger do to her and Bhadra responds by telling her not to be careless and continues to tell that his guru has lived for 27 generations and he is more than 2000 years old. Rana Maayan is also Goddess Dhumavati Amman's son (a Demigod Tantra). He also states that his Guru was the one who was responsible in imprisoning an evil known as Kalanthakan while the reason of his guru's return is not yet revealed totally to the viewers but Bhadra his disciple speculated that his return means that something big and terrible is about to happen.

The scene then shifts to Sun TV News Channel whereby a news reporter reports of a huge earthquake that had occurred at Himachal Pradesh with a magnitude of 8.2 and the disaster is felt all over India with a death toll of about 10000+ deaths near the epicenter of the earthquake incident. This news was noticed by a man in "Kaavi" dress who then runs to his Guru a (Sivan Acharya)in Anandha Madam who then mentions while showing the recording of the incident in his phablet phone to him stating that the predictions made by his guru once again have came true. The Siva Acharya who was worried about this incident laments to Lord Sivan stating that He (Lord Sivan) who represents the Master of the Five Elements (Pancha Bootham) is just witnessing all this incidents quietly without taking the necessary actions while Kalanthakan who is silently manipulating all this incident is set to return to this world after 2000 years of imprisonment. The Siva Acharya disciple ask his guru about what to do next whom responds back by asking about the arrival of the Minister to which the disciple mentions that the Minister is on his way back. The Siva Acharya who was uneasy with all of this natural disasters happening throughout India, requested his disciples to leave him alone for a few minutes while he decided to meditate.

The scene then shifts to the arrival of the Minister at the airport who arrives with his personal secretary. The Minister managed to swiftly answer back to the news reporters from further enquiry by mentioning that he and the government will be taking the necessary actions before it's too late. While traveling in his vehicle the minister remembered the warnings of the Siva Acharya months back who told him to take the necessary actions and effort to avoid Kalanthakan (an evil spirit - possibly the manifestation of Kali (Demon)) from making his disastrous return to this world after 2000 years of imprisonment by Rana Maayan.

The scene once again shifts back to the traffic road focusing a small girl and her father in the car waiting for the traffic signal to turn green. While waiting the small girl noticed a doll at a roadside stall calling out to her. The small girl leaves the car an proceeds to the stall while her father was busy attending the phone whom later on noticed his daughter at the stall. He proceeded to pick up his daughter who asked him for the ornated wooden box (within which contains an evil doll). The small girl's father bought the ornated wooden box before returning to the car. It is then revealed that he was rushing to the hospital after picking up his daughter because his pregnant wife is admitted at the hospital about to give birth.Shortly after he arrived at the hospital. During this moment the nurse requested him to buy the necessary medicines at the counter and so he left his small daughter who was carrying the ornated wooden box with her near the ICU room telling her that he would be back shortly. The ornated box reverts it's form into a doll who then cast its evil powers through its eyes that enters into the room possessing the nurse who proceeds to kill the small girls mother by increasing the anesthesia dosage imposed into the pregnant women's body effectively killing her and her foetus.

The minister known as Thangapandi has arrived at Anandha Madam to meet with the Siva Acharya whom asks his disciple Bhakti Saradhan to bring a Jothida Rasi Chakram (a chakra containing the 12 zodiac signs) together with 3 shells. The Siva Acharya puts the 3 shells on the chakram and the 3 shells accurately went to 3 different zodiac signs that's: Mithuna Rasi, Vrischika Rasi and Dhanusu Rasi. The Siva Acharya then mentions that the solution to all the problems that have currently occurred will come in the form of three different people: 2 girls and 1 boy. He further mentions the zodiac signs of the 3 people that's a Mithuna Rasi girl, a Vrischika Rasi girl and a Dhanusu Rasi Boy. He later advises the Minister to take the effort to find these 3 different individuals before it's too late. The Minister's personal secretary says that this is going to be a very difficult and taxing thing to be done because there are many people born on that zodiac signs. The Minister asked the Siva Acharya for other ways of finding the three individuals to which the Siva Acharya says that according to "Olai Chuvadi" there is only mention of the 3 individuals meeting at the same place tonight but the exact location is not mentioned. The worried Minister then said: How am I supposed to find them when this details are very ambiguous to which the Siva Acharya says that there is another info in the "Olai Chuvadi" that is these 3 people will be meeting at a place where a comet/asteroid crashes. The now relieved Minister Thangapandi says that this info is just enough for him to find the 3 individuals because of the advanced research and technology on space in India. Minister Thangapandi calls the Chief of ISRO Organization in India and tells him about the dire situation while telling him to update him if he noticed any comets/asteroids coming towards India. The Chief Scientist at ISRO orders his team to make sure this operation is kept as a secret as Minister Thangapandi have ordered so.

The scene now shifts and focuses on an old woman with her assistant (Pasupathi) both of them have notice the cylindrical container with a chakra that she have kept for almost 2000 years starting to rotate. The old woman gets excited as this indicates that her son Kalanthakan has already awakened from his deep slumber for about 2000 years. Immediately the old woman took the chakra and together with her assistant she set off to find the location of her son Kalanthakan. Once she located the exact location (which is in the palace) she said to her assistant that this is the exact place that appeared in her dream indicating that Kalanthakan must be inside the palace. When she entered into the palace she and her assistant was stopped by a security guard from entering. The old woman quickly hypnotized the security guard while brainwashing him into allowing both of them to enter the palace grounds. Once she had entered the cylindrical container levitate above the ground locating the exact place where Kalanthakan was buried (imprisoned). That chakra flashes a light above the ground before disappearing. After the chakra disappeared cracks appeared on the ground and a horrifying growling sound can be heard within. The old woman claims that this is her sons voice and started to lament that after 2000 years she's hearing his voice once again. Kalanthakan says that he's very thirsty and ask his mother to feed his thirst. The old woman tells the same to her assistant asking him to donate his blood for her son to drink which the assistant agrees to do. During this moment the palace owner notices the old woman and her assistant in his palace veranda and ask her to leave the place to which the old woman says that she will not leave as she have came to the right place at the right time. She tells him to call his wife as he always asks his wife's opinion before taking any decisions to which he refused by telling that his wife is bed ridden paralyzed. She then cures his wife by making her to walk back normally and both of them agree to let her stay in their palace after this incident. After this the old woman tells her assistant to go and find the Icchapurani Rani Simharathna and Suryakundala Raja Vikraman and he obediently follows her order while seeking her blessings.

The scene now shifts back to the palace where Bhadra is staying and he comes across his wife who have injured her hand. After few times of failing to heal her condition, his guru Rana Maayan appears waiting at the door step to enter the palace and Bhadra goes to open the front door and welcome his guru into the palace. He requested his guru's help to cure his wife's hand and the guru cures it using his third eye power. Bhadra's guru Rana Maayan scolds Bhadra for not heeding to his words earlier that he should have completed his quest to become a complete Brahmachari but because he developed feelings for a woman he had failed his duty of becoming a Brahmachari and started to live the life of a common man. Bhadra then inquires about the exact special reason why his guru Rana Maayan have came for and Rana Maayan mentions that things that are going to happen from now onwards will be very special and great. Rana Maayan says that it has been 2000 years since he have came to this "Malligai" which at one time was a very huge palace. He told Bhadra that the history which happened 2000 years ago are about to repeat again. He brought Bhadra to a corridor window and showed him a mountain surrounded by a few hills and started to narrate the incidents of a war that happened 2000 years ago. Now Flashback Time, 2000 years ago, There was three kingdoms which is Icchapurani Dynasty, Satavagheeni Dynasty and Suryakundala Dynasty and this three dynasties was involved in a ferocious civil war and the war was known by the name of Kalavana War. Rana Maayan then introduces Bhadra (who cannot see the past vision about the war) to the Prince of Suryakundala Desam (Prince Vikraman), Princess of Icchapurani Desam (Princess Simharathna) and Queen of Satavagheeni Nadu (Lakshmi Prabhavathi) while praising their spectacular battle prowess. He then states that he is going to use the three of them (who are believed to have taken a birth once again after 2000 years) as his "Pagadai Kai" (three dices) to bring an end to Kalanthakan. Bhadra who still cannot believe what his guru is telling him (as he cannot see the visions of the past) expresses his disbelief to which his guru Rana Maayan states that he will make him belief. He tells him (Bhadra) that a comet is set to fall nearby the place that he have showed earlier and exactly it happens to the surprise of Bhadra. After witnessing that disaster, Bhadra questions Rana Maayan that is it a bad symbol for them to witness this disaster to which Rana Maayan will say that it's bad for good people but not for both of them (signifying Rana Maayan's evil persona).

The scene once again shifts to the laboratory of ISRO where the chief scientist has witnessed the crash of the comet at the same placed that Rana Maayan and Bhadra witnessed earlier which is known as Palanggi Malai and says "Oh My God" after which two more comets crashed at the Antartica and Pacific Ocean of the Earth at accurately 8:30pm. The chief scientist Subramaniam, immediately calls Minister Thangapandi to inform what he had witnessed. He asked the Minister what to do next and Minister Thangapandi said that he would get to him back as soon as possible. The Minister tells the information to the Siva Acharya and the Siva Acharya predicted that the place where the 3 individuals are going to meet is none other than Palanggi Malai. The Minister without wasting time called the chief scientist Subramaniam to get the exact location of the site of the comet crash and the chief scientist agreed to do it immediately. He orders his team of elite scientists to zoom in on the location of the comet crash site in Palanggi Malai. While they're zooming they all failed to locate the exact location as their technology system has been corrupted by some unknown forces. The Chief Scientist Subramaniam informed what had happened to Minister Thangapandi who got very disappointed and he told the chief scientist to inform once their technology systems have been restored. Siva Acharya decides to send his disciple Bhakti Saradhan to locate the 3 individual while Minister Thangapandi volunteers to send his personal secretary Shweta together with Bhakti Saradhan to locate the 3 individuals. Before leaving both of them got blessings from Siva Acharya who reminded them about their duty. After that Siva Acharya and his other disciples sat down into meditation.

The scene once again shifts to the palace where the 3 individuals are about to meet and from the sky a man appears with a pigeon on his shoulder and a thirisoolam in his hand. He then transforms the pigeon into a girl who seems to be his disciple and her name is Sugumadhapura (she seems to be a very adorable character). The man reveals his mission to his disciple Sugumadhapura that's to help the 3 individuals but he also mentions that he cannot enter the place for he was cursed by Satavagheeni Queen Lakshmi Prabhavathi for betraying her when he served her as her commander. He then orders Sugumadhapura to enter the palace and update him frequently with whatever that is going to happen there soon. Sugumadhapura transforms into a pigeon and flies into the palace. It is revealed that the reincarnation of Princess Simharathna (name of current incarnation Yaksha) is on the way to a business deal to do land registration under her company while not knowing her fate that's waiting for her in the palace. Rana Maayan made sure that her journey was smooth without any obstacles while Kalanthakan follows behind her car.

Yaksha uses her location tracking system (GPS) to determine the exact direction of (Yaksha Guesthouse) and the GPS directs her to take her turn to the left. During that moment, Rana Maayan manages to divert Yaksha to take a turn to the right (that's actually to the haunted palace) by changing the sign board located on the road while also changing her GPS reading (to take a turn to the right) with his evil magical powers through the blessings of Dhumavathi Amman. Yaksha then takes her turn to the right as shown on the sign board and also her phone's GPS system Rana Maayan laughs wickedly as he has successfully diverted her to the palace. He then focuses his attention on Aravind (incarnation of Raja Vikraman from Surya Kundala Dynasty) by appearing as an old tea stall owner while Aravind stops by to drink a cup of tea and ask the tea stall owner for any nearby locations to put a stay only for the night and return to home the next morning. The old tea stall owner (Rana Maayan) advises Aravind to go back from where he had come from because there are currently no places like that which is safe to put a stay. Aravind insists that it would be not safe for him to go back because of landslides around the area and asked for any hotels for him to stay. The old tea stall owner states that there is only a haunted palace and no hotels to stay in for the night.

The old tea stall owner tells Aravind that if he decides to stay in that haunted palace then he would forever be stucked in the palace not able to get out of it and so he once again advises Aravind to drink the cup of tea and return to the place that he have come from. Aravind laughed on hearing all of these and further inquires about the location of the haunted palace. The old tea stall owner told him the location of the haunted palace which is located 5 kilometers from the tea stall at the top of a hill. After drinking the tea, Aravind decides to leave the place to go to the haunted palace, once again the old tea stall owner asked him why would he want to go to the haunted palace so badly to which Aravind replied by saying: "I've always wanted to see ghosts in my life time but haven't seen one yet, and since you're advising me not to go there by saying that the palace is haunted by ghosts and evil spirits, these statements of yours is really increasing my curiosity to investigate the palace and come across with those ghost." After saying this he left in search for the haunted palace. Rana Maayan laughs wickedly once again after Aravind left and disappeared. He made sure Aravind walked to the palace without his bike by causing his bike to break down using his evil powers.

Rana Maayan called Bhadra and hands him with a sachet of green powder and ordered him to give the green powder to the 3 visitors who are about to come to the palace. Bhadra asked Rana Maayan if the green powder have got anything to do with children's and Rana Maayan confirms the same by telling him the purpose of the green powder whereby he wants Bhadra to feed the visitors with these green powder (by mixing it in any food or drink) so to create a child who will change his fate (to make him even more powerful) and warns Bhadra not to make a mistake as a slight mistake will change their fates. Bhadra obediently listens to Rana Maayan. Later Rana Maayan orders Bhadra to send his wife to her fathers house the next morning so that she would not be an obstacle to both of their plans which Bhadra agrees to. Rana Maayan further states that tomorrow he is going to offer one of the visitors as a sacrifice. He told Bhadra that he is going to sacrifice the heroine and make sure that the hero and the female villain be together so that both of them will give birth to a child that will give him the power to control the all powerful Kalanthakan.

Yaksha arrived first at the palace and comes to know that this is not her guesthouse and wonders why did her GPS provided the wrong address when usually it won't do so. She decides to leave the place when Aravind appears from the woods and she asked him whether he knows the exact location to Yaksha Guesthouse and he says that for 2 days there will be no way out because of the heavy landslide that have covered the road pathway to travel. He frightened her by saying that this palace is haunted and also tells her that there's no other choices other than to take shelter in the palace temporarily. Both of them decide to enter into the palace. Bhadra notices both of them and informs to Rana Maayan that only 2 people have arrived. Rana Maayan orders him to check once again and confirm. Bhadra leaves the place immediately to check.

Meanwhile, in a hidden chamber in the palace a treasure box opens and a scroll with the portrait of Lakshmi Prabhavathi appears at the back of the 2 visitors and this incident is only witnessed by Bhadra who watches it silently while stunned by himself. When both of them asked if there's a room to stay in for the night Bhadra nods yes and points to his left. The Queen Lakshmi Prabhavathi in the portrait walks down from the portrait and enters into the palace while changing the palace to its former original glory. It's then revealed to be a vision of the appearance of the incarnation of Queen Lakshmi Prabhavathi who asked Bhadra for a place to reside in for the night in the palace. Later on her name is revealed to be Darshini. Bhadra looks at her in a shocked expression because she looks extremely similar with the Queen that appeared in his vision. Bhadra agrees to let her stay in the palace. She then revealed to him that the bus she was traveling had to turn back because of the landslide in that area (which is actually caused by the comet crashing into the place near the palace).

The scene shifts to the pregnant women's funeral and she is revealed to be the elder sister of Darshini. The family members tried calling to Darshini's phone once again and the bus conductor in a bus stop answer the call telling them that Darshini have left the bus leaving her mobile phone at the bus stop and have walked all the way alone going near Palanggi Malai by herself. Her worried family members decided to go in search of her while in the meantime the evil doll in the box changes the portrait of the small girls father's deceased wife with that of Darshini hinting at the next decision the family is about to take (marrying Darshini with the small girl's father).

Bhadra meets Rana Maayan and informs him that the 3 visitors have arrived and he particularly tells about his vision to Rana Maayan and the latter confirms by saying that the 3 visitors are no ordinary individuals and once again he orders Bhadra to complete the orders that he have mentioned earlier. Bhadra says that both of the girls looks very beautiful and he asks Rana Maayan to reconsider his act of sacrificing one of them to which Rana Maayan affirms Bhadra to do his duty. A restless Bhadra still confused ask his guru whom will he offer as a sacrifice among the 2 girls and Rana Maayan said that he himself doesn't know and would come to know on the day of sacrifice by the divine sight of Dhumavathi Amman. Bhadra then leaves to fulfill his duties. Yaksha's mother Mandakini arrives home late and reminds her elder son Subhash that he has a sister and his sister is currently at Palanggi Malai where the comet has crashed into that location but he disregards this by saying that Yaksha is a big girl and the fighter type capable of taking care of herself. He told his mother not to worry about her safety. During this heated moment, Subhash wife comes in and puts more oil into the fire until irritating her mother in law. Mandakini later tells her daughter in law and son to go to bed while she handles the situation by herself. Mandakini calls the security manager at Yaksha Guesthouse to inquire whether her daughter Yaksha have arrived but the manager says that everyone in the guesthouse is still waiting for her arrival. This further enrages Mandakini who started to scold him for his careless behavior. She immediately tells the manager (Charles) to bring some of his people to go in search of Yaksha and he agrees to do it immediately. Mandakini notices her daughter in law who was eavesdropping on to her conversation immediately close the door and Mandakini sighs fed up of her daughter in law's behavior.

Bhadra mixes the green powder into the sambar (dhal curry) while the 3 visitors introduce themselves to one another. After mixing the green powder into the sambar, he serves the sambar to the 3 visitors together but out of the 3 visitors Yaksha refuses to take the sambar adamantly saying that she doesn't like to eat sambar while the other 2 (Aravind and Darshini) enjoys the meal served to them without realizing the contents in the sambar. After eating the 3 of them started a conversation and each of them admitted that they have a strong feelings that they have met with one another and know one another for a very long time and also the palace seems to be an extremely familiar place.

They decide to play a game whereby they'll act a scene from a movie and the other person must guest the name of the movie. While playing it's revealed that Yaksha is getting quite jealous with Aravind and Darshini both of whom are getting along very well and decides to go to sleep. Meanwhile, Rana Maayan appeared silently at the window and asked Bhadra (whom noticed him and approach his guru without anyone noticing) whether he had completed the given duty and Bhadra said that Aravind and Darshini already took the sambar (containing the green powder) but Yaksha adamantly denied to take her dinner. An enraged Rana Maayan told Bhadra to somehow feed her and tells Bhadra not to underestimate Yaksha as she represents the reincarnation of Icchapurani Dynasty's Queen Simharathna who have brought 27 different kingdoms under her rule. Later Bhadra manages to complete the given task by mixing it in water (and also changes the color of the water with his limited magical powers) and served Yaksha the water who was having hiccups. Finally she drinks the water to the delight of Rana Maayan and to the relieve of Bhadra (who was extremely worried that he would fail his duty and earn the wrath of his guru).

Mandakini's second son arrives back home after partying hard in club she tells him about his younger sister and scolded him for not being caring about his own sister's safety. He tells her not to worry and told her to try her phone number to which his mother Mandakini says that she's trying but to no avail. He further tells his mother to have a good rest and not to worry about her safety and they'll begin the search next morning but his words doesn't comfort his mother. On seeing his worried mother he suggested her to call the IG (Inspector General S.Ramachandran) to help her out. Mandakini gives a call to the IG who is her friend and informs him about everything that had happened and the IG was surprised with Yaksha's bravery when in comparison with Mandakini her mother. The IG suggested Mandakini to take her BP medicine and have a good rest while assuring Mandakini that the search for Yaksha would be his responsibility. Mandakini mentioned why she was worried of Yaksha and that's because according to her Jathagam something really bad will happen to her when she's 22 years old. Mandakini's daughter in law who once again was eavesdropping onto the conversation silently wishes and hopes that Yaksha dies.

The scene once again shifts to the palace revealing the appearance of Kalanthakan who silently visited Darshini sleeping while reminding himself of the 2000 years of vengeance he has on her mainly (and possibly on Aravind and Yaksha) for what she had done to him. A frightened Darshini woke up from her nightmare to discover that no one was there and she returns to her sleep, Kalanthakan who was silently watching her left the room and the palace. Bhadra's alarm rings sharp at 5:05 am and he reminded himself that he had to send his wife to her fathers house. At first his wife was reluctant to leave but later after he manages to give an appropriate answer (child related matters between Bhadra and his wife - which is a definite lie) she decided to go to her fathers house. She puts the leftover rice and sambar for the dogs to eat and she left the house together with her husband who will drop her not before witnessing a pigeon (possibly Sugumadhapura) eating the food and later the pigeon flies to their direction. Rana Maayan who have begin the sacrificial prayers calls Darshini, Yaksha and Aravind using his evil powers (the three of them who already have fallen into his hypnotic powers) obediently follow his order into the chamber where he's waiting for the three of them.

Bhadra's wife, Paounu noticed the pigeon that ate the food she had given in the morning transformed into a girl (Sugumadhapura) crying in pain from the poison that she had eaten earlier. She was later cured by Siddhar Jyothirlingam who cured her using some of the herbs nearby. He further ordered her to be careful and not to eat anything given at the palace. On observing this miraculous incident she (Paounu) senses that something wrong is happening at the palace to the three of them namely (Arvind, Darshini and Yaksha), she took the same herbs used by the siddha to Jyothirlingam earlier and rushed back to the palace to stop the three individuals. After an initial struggle she managed to stop the three of them while feeding them with the herbs bringing them back safely to the palace's room.

Rana Maayan who sensed something fishy sent his power to bring back the three individuals but it failed and so he sent Dhumavathi Devi's power for the second time which succeeded in killing Paounu who was protecting the three of them from outside the locked door of the room. Bhadra who noticed that his wife wasn't following him all the time suspected that she had returned to the palace rushed back to stop her alas when he arrived he realised that he was to late to save his wife from her own death. He cried out loud but was quickly brainwashed by an angry Rana Maayan who jinxed him to clear off her dead body. He further ordered Bhadra to bring anything from the two girls and not to commit any mistakes in it. Bhadra took a bangle from Darshini and an earring from Yaksha and told Rana Maayan about it.

Meanwhile, Sugumadhapura who was at that place at the moment noticed what Bhadra did and quickly informed Siddhar Jyothirlingam about the incident. He then ordered Sugumadhapura to exchange the other bangle of Darshini on Yaksha's hand and the earring of Yaksha on Darshini's ear which she (Sugumadhapura) successfully managed doing it. This causes a confusion for Rana Maayan later on as he perceived in such a way that Darshini is Icchapurani Queen Simharatna and Yaksha is Satavagheeni Queen lakshmi prabhavati.

Bhadra who was about to dispose his wife's body was confronted by Yaksha, Darshini and Aravind. Aravind proceeds to go and seek the help of the police while he told both the girls to guard the body of Paounu and also Bhadra. Rana Maayan intercepts Aravind and beats him up unconscious and puts an evil spell to protect Aravind's body from any attempt of recovery by any other person.

Bhakti and Shwetha managed to reach Palanggi Malai but they didn't get the permission to enter the forest from the police inspector whom refused to allow anyone including both of them from entering the Palanggi Malai region. Somehow Bhakti and Shweta sneak into the forest without the police observing them. Their arrival into the forest is being silently watched by Kalanthakan who then proceeds to give about various obstacles to the duo.

Kalanthakan successfully separated both of them from one another and in that process Bhakti comes across with an unconscious Aravind and Shweta comes across with Darshini's brother who is also searching for her in the forest. Bhakti's attempt on saving Aravind fails as he was chased away by the evil spirits under the control of Rana Maayan whom proceeds to take Aravind's body back to the palace.

Meanwhile, Shweta and Darshini's brother were caught by the tribal people living in the forest but Darshini's brother managed to escape from them when he showed his sister's photo to the tribal people who prayed to her and reveals in their language (only to the audience) that she is their Queen and they represent the former inhabitants of Satavagheeni Kingdoms. Later on Bhakti fights these tribal people and rescues Shweta from them. Both of them decided to go back and inform what had happened to the Shiva Achariyar and also the Minister.

Jothirlingam who was watching all that's happening decided to take his action by entering into the body of Bhadra's wife and preventing anything bad from happening to the 3 individuals. He successfully entered into the body of Paounu bringing life to the body surprising and shocking Bhadra, Yaksha and Darshini. He managed to convince all the three of them that Paounu was unconscious all the while.

A big battle between Jothirlingam and Rana Maayan ensued and the battle ended with Jothirlingam coming out victorious while sealing Rana Maayan in a strong grip of stones and rocks in a cave (Before being sealed, Rana Maayan comes to know the exact person he's supposed to sacrifice from the grace of Dhumavathi Amman - Whom told him to sacrifice Darshini and use Yaksha to fulfill his purpose but his plans are halted by the timely intervention of Jothirlingam.

Jyothirlingam also manages to send back Aravind and Yaksha away from the palace back to Chennai while Darshini's brother who escaped from the tribal people came and took her back to Chennai. Jothirlingam writes a secret inscription on Sugumadhapura's feather and told her to follow one of the three individuals and help them out from any problems.

When Sugumadhapura asked what's written on the feather, Jothirlingam informed her that Rana Maayan's vimorchanam is written on it. Jyothirlingam also tells Sugumadhapura that Rana Maayan is not the big threat but the main threat is Kalanthakan (whom even the strong and powerful Jyothirlingam fears about). Kalanthakan is prophesied to return to the world and his return will mark the crushing defeat of the Devas in the hands of the Asuras. Fearing this Jyothirlingam ordered her to keep an eye on Darshini to protect her. Rana Maayan who overheard this orders Bhadra to go in search of the pigeon (Sugumadhapura). Bhadra comes to know from Jothirlingam's disciples that Sugumadhapura have gone in search of the 3 individuals but he isn't sure of her exact location.

Meanwhile, Sugumadhapura followed Darshini back to her home and came to know that there's already an evil power in the form of a doll causing a lot of havoc in Darshini's house. She tells her guru Jyothirlingam about this and he blesses her and she takes the form of a girl and successfully entered the house of Darshini to thwart away the evil doll from ever succeeding. She manages to make Darshini to believe that the Evil Doll is the cause of all problems in her house and also the death of her sister.

The scene shifts to Kalanthakan's mother Alangariamma disciple who manages to enter Yaksha's Household and gained a good name from her mother Mandakini and told her not to worry about her daughter's gandam (obstacles) and he has a solution for that. He told her to meet with Alangariamma and after meeting her she agreed to buy the palace told by Alangariamma as she was made to believe that the palace is the safest place for Yaksha to live (But the truth is that the palace is the same place where Kalanthakan's Pretatma resides in).

Alangariamma using her powers through the blessings of Dhandini managed to make Aravind and Yaksha to meet together while both of them are on the road waiting for the traffic light to turn green and after that she tried to stop Aravind from meeting Darshini but she failed with the timely intervention of Jyothirlingam, whom stopped her powers of foreseeing with the use of water elements. He later blessed both Aravind and Darshini through his divine sight and said that he will always be there to protect both of them from any harm.

On the same night, Dandhini informed Alangariamma to do a poojai and during the poojai the Goddess ordered her to burn the portrait of Satavagheeni Ilavarasi Lakshmi Prabhavathi to totally destroy her but her plans are halted by the timely intervention of Sugumadhapura who was acting under the orders of Jyothirlingam snatched the portrait away from Alangariamma's hand and brought it away from her. A frustrated Alangariamma telepathically tells Jyothirlingam that she will somehow succeed in her duty of releasing Kalanthakan from His eternal prison that had still contains his Pretatma.

On Yaksha's birthday Mandakini told her that she have 2 special gifts for her and she brought her (Yaksha) to her company and officially announced her as the new CEO. After that, Mandakini brought Yaksha to the palace and told her that this'll be the second gift for her beloved daughter.

As soon as she sets her foot on the palace ground, Alangariamma welcomes Yaksha with grandeur and told her to put her left leg into the palace. A curious and surprise Yaksha asked her why to which Alangariamma told her that she's not a normal person but a woman with the strength of 1000 asuras which shocked Yaksha even more.

Alangariamma diverts Mandakini to converse on her phone using the powers of her Ishta Deivam: Dandhini and brings Yaksha to the hidden chamber located below the palace. Alangariamma took Yaksha to a room that has two portrait and when she opens the first portrait she introduces Yaksha to her past life as Chakravartini Simharathna while when she opened the other portrait's cover she introduces her to Aravind aka Surya Kundala Arasan during which Yaksha has a Deja Vu moment of her past life but she breaks off and told Alangariamma to bring her out of the secret chamber.

When she was about to leave she asked Alangariamma about who is the third person's empty portrait. Before leaving the room, Alangariamma told her that it isn't important for her to know that person while also informing her to keep all she'd seen as a secret from her family members as it could end up as a danger to the lives of her family members and Yaksha agreed to keep it as a secret.

On Yaksha's birthday night Mandakini announces that her best friend, Jegan's son (Nirmal) will marry her daughter much to the chagrin of Alangariamma who then gives an enchanted rose from the bouquet brought by Aravind (who was invited to the birthday party by Yaksha) to Pasupati (Alangariamma's disciple) and tells him to put the rose on Yaksha's head.

Pasupati hands over the rose to a small girl and told her to pass it to Yaksha but she passes it to Sandhya (Lavanya's sister) who puts the enchanted rose on her head and automatically falls in love with Aravind. Alangariamma gets mad with Pasupati when her plan failed but she remains calm and took Arathi for both Aravind and Yaksha shocking most of her family members but none questioned her act.

At the same time, Yaksha strongly opposed her mother's decision of putting her (Mandakini's) old time interior designer friend as the Chief Interior Designer for Yaksha's new Mahal and she stubbornly decided Aravind to be the new Chief Interior Designer for her own Mahal and handed him the project with a budget worth of 5 crore (she will be offering him the money).

Mandakini's best friend's son was observing every single act of Yaksha and felt very envious and irritated while at the same time Sandhya gives an appropriate reason to Mandakini that she wanted to join as Aravind's assistant and learn from him about interior designing to which Aravind reluctantly agreed by expressing his opinion to Mandakini and told her, "Aunt Mandakini, this is your project and you're free to make any decisions." Alangariamma who was watching every single drama that had happened strongly told to herself and the viewers: "No matter what happened I will succeed in what I've started and she let out a hideous laughter "HaHaHaHaHaHaHa" like a hysterical patient.

On the same night a worried Alangariamma was walking around the secret chamber while reminiscing about the incidents that had happened, her disciple Pasupati came into the chamber and told her that even though both of them are trying very best to bring Yaksha and Aravind together but their plans are always failing. Alangariamma told him not to worry as she knows really well that she will somehow succeed it as that's what is fated to happen.

At the same moment in a far away place, somewhere near Palangi Malai, Jyothirlingam summoned Sugumadhapura and told her that he has got something important to inform. He told her the reason why he sent her to follow Darshini and also he told her that this war (Yuddham) between good and evil had happened 2000 years ago and it's continuing after a long interval.

He told her about Alangariamma's plans of reviving her dead son Kalanthakan through the marriage of Yaksha and Aravind which would result in a child that will be blessed with the powers of knowing the Paadamoolam Spell (An Incantation that blesses immortality) which is currently guarded by Ulaganathar siddhar but the minus point is that the child born to Yaksha and Aravind would be under the control of evil (Asuras) influence whereas the child born to Darshini and Aravind would be free from the control of any evil influence which highlights the purpose and reason of why he sent her to protect Darshini from any harm.

Sugumadhapura asked Jyothirlingam about this unknown entity known as Kalanthakan and Jyothirlingam said that he (Kalanthakan) is actually the Rajaguru of Chakravarthini Simharathna (Yaksha) and he is a practitioner of the black magic. One day Kalanthakan came to know about the way to get the Paadamoolam Spell and he tried his very best in getting it by arranging an marriage alliance with Suryakundala Arasar Vikraman (Aravind) and Icchapurani Chakravarthini Simharathna (Yaksha) but many conflicts arise and it ended in a terrible war that ended with the defeat and death of Kalanthakan whose body was divided into 3 pieces.

During the same time Alangariamma tells the effects of the marriage of Yaksha and Aravind to Pasupati. She tells him that:

1. When Yaksha and Aravind succeeded in marrying one another, Kalanthakan's Pretatma will gain the first part of his body.

2. The moment Yaksha becomes pregnant with Aravind's child Kalanthakan's Pretatma will gain the second part of his body.

3. And finally when Yaksha give birth to her child, Kalanthakan's will gain the third part of his body and is finally reborn to exact his vengeance.

She also told that the when Kalanthakan is awakened Rana Maayan and Jyothirlingam would be easily destroyed by Kalanthakan. Pasupati inquired her about Rana Maayan and she told him that: "You want to know who's this guy called Rana Maayan, I will tell you Pasupati, He, Rana Maayan is a Betrayer who worked as a chief commander for Chakravarthini Simharathna and also was a mere servant serving for Kalanthakan. One day when (Rana Maayan) discovered about the Immortality Spell from Kalanthakan, He was overwhelmed by his desire to rule the world and He turned into the black magic arts while invoking a deity known as Dhumavathi Devi to bless him with powers and also knowledge to acquire the Paadamoolam Spell".

Pasupati became worried that they cannot find a way to defeat Jyothirlingam and also Darshini and that's when Alangariamma told Pasupati not to worry as there are many loyal followers of Kalanthakan who are preparing for battle against the good forces. Alangariamma also said that it was she who sent "Jinda the Evil Doll" into Darshini's house and it was under her orders that Jinda killed Darshini's sister and her unborn child.

At the same time Jyothirlingam told to Sugumadhapura that he's aware of Kalanthakan's followers and told that there are many good people who are at their side that would be participating in the upcoming battle between good and evil. Alangariamma promised on herself in front of Pasupati that she will definitely bring Kalanthakan back while Jyothirlingam who's watching her laughs.

The next day, Aravind's boss congratulated Aravind for getting such a great deal and had a small celebration during which Aravind requested his boss for a help to appoint a personal assistant to help him with this new project and his boss agreed and decided to hire a responsible new employee just for Aravind.

During this moment Yaksha comes to Aravind's office to give him the advance 5 crore and also she talks to Aravind and told him in front of his friend and also his boss that she has handed the project only for Aravind with great regards and mutual trust on him.

After that, Aravind accompanied her back to her car and both of them met with Yaksha's ineligible fiancé arranged by her mom, Mandakini (His name is Nirmal) who came to see a friend. He told her that he would like to take her for lunch after meeting with his friend (actually he came to bring her for a date) but she told him in an obvious sarcastic manner that she's already committed with Aravind (mainly because she isn't interested in Nirmal). An irritated Nirmal turned back to his car and decided to returned home.

When she asked him about his meeting with his friend he replied to her like a major looser and said, "I can meet him anytime as per my wish". After he left, Aravind questioned Yaksha about her actions by saying to her, "I know the reason why you avoided him, it's quite obvious that you aren't interested in him" and she confirmed the same to Aravind, "Yes exactly you read my mind, but forget about that major looser, I'm really serious about both of us going for lunch and getting to know more about one another". Aravind's colleague Swarna and his Boss who was watching the whole drama that was going on in between both of them confirmed that posibbly Yaksha is into Aravind (Yaksha ❤️ Aravind).

The next day Yaksha and her family members arrived at her new palace and during which Yaksha received a call from Aravind, Sandhya who noticed this follows behind Yaksha unbeknownst to both of them Alangariamma has observed Sandhya's behaviour and prevented her by making her fall from the staircase but she survived with no injuries.

The scene then shifts to Aravind's company and Aravind's colleague was telling to him that maybe Yaksha might be interested in him but he said that maybe she has a mutual respect and trust in him as a friend and he does not want to confuse it with love unless she confirms it.

For a while later Yaksha appears and decided to go for lunch with him. While he's about to take his car out of the parking lot Bhadra and his brother's van breaks down in front of Aravind's car without knowing that the car belongs to Aravind and both He and Yaksha is in the car.

Bhadra notices that Aravind and Yaksha is in the car during which his brother succeeded in starting the engine of the car and moving away from that place. Bhadra ordered his brother to stop the car and decided to enter Aravind's office to get details of his address, Yaksha's address and also Darshini's address which he succeeded in getting and he requested Aravind's friend to appoint Darshini as Aravind's assistant as he knew she's a nice person (His main motive is to make all the three of them to always be together so that it would be easier for him to always keep a watchful eyes on them so that he can report it to his guru Rana Maayan).

The following day Bhadra and his brother arrived at the Yaksha's palace only to get noticed by Yaksha and Aravind and also get caught by Alangariamma who knows that he is Rana Maayan's disciple. Before leaving Yaksha told to Alangariamma that Aravind's PA will be arriving shortly and tells her to invite her to the house once she has arrived.

A short while later Alangariamma who busy in prayers scented the fragrance of sandalwood powder and asked him to locate the direction of the fragrance as this is not auspicious for the prayers that she's doing for Asuric purpose especially to ensure the victory of Kalanthakan.

Pasupati gets shocked when he notices Darshini walking into the house and immediately informed Alangariamma about this who also gets shocked but they hide their anger and invited her into the palace while vowing to chase her out of the palace immediately before Yaksha and Aravind arrived which she failed to do as she only succeeded in scaring Darshini a little but not chasing her.

Once Yaksha and Aravind arrived at the palace they was surprised and also happy to meet back with Darshini who was also glad to meet back both of her friends from Palangi Malai. Yaksha then asked Alangariamma about Bhadra and Alangariamma brought her to a place that she claimed to have tied him up there but acted like he has escaped from the palace. Yaksha and Aravind said that it was okay as it was worthless of having him around.

When Pasupati asked Alangariamma whether Bhadra has really escaped she confirmed to him that she lied to Yaksha and Aravind so that they both would not keep him in their mind and she told him that she has kept him in the secret chamber within the palace. Alangariamma entered the secret chamber and offers Bhadra a chance to leave the place if he tells the truth.

He said that he came in search of a pigeon that's following Darshini but he ended up in the secret chamber. After knowing his purpose, Alangariamma tells him that she wants Darshini dead and she wants him to do it or if he refuses he will end up in a big danger. On hearing this Bhadra had no other choice other than accepting it after which he and his brother left the palace in search for both the pigeon and Darshini.

On the same day Ramesh (Darshini's sister's husband who wants to marry Darshini under the evil influence of "Jinda the Evil Doll") invites Darshini's family into his new bungalow and he was successful in persuading them to stay in the bungalow.

Later Mohan arrived at the bungalow with a bag containing 7 lakhs of money to be paid for a business deal which Ramesh notices the bag of money and began plotting his plan to steal the money and offer his help to Darshini's family who would become indebted to him and finally make use of this chance in getting married to Darshini.

Mohan received a call from Shwetha whom he met at Palangi Malai and invited her to his house. He took his bag and left it in his room. Ramesh who noticed this waited like a hungry wolf to exact his plan. A while later when Shwetha arrived and was busy talking to Mohan, Ramesh silently sneaked into the room, stole the money and kept it in his car.

Before he left the house he told to Mohan that he is going to his office and thought that he has succeeded from not gaining any suspicions from anyone. Ramesh failed to notice that Kuyili aka Sugumadhapura had observed his actions and took the money from his car to put it back into Mohan's bag.

When she entered the house, Darshini's mother tells Kuyili aka Sugumadhapura to bring Shwetha to the restroom as the Shwetha wanted to use it. Kuyili will bring her to Darshini's room to use the restroom and once she leaves the room she took out the money and returns it back into Mohan's bag. Shwetha noticed this but decides to confront her later and tries to find anything important in Darshini's room.

Her actions are observed by Kuyili aka Sugumadhapura. Before Shwetha leaves the house Kuyili confronts her and asked her the purpose she has come to which Shwetha replied to her: "Don't act like a good person I've noticed what you did with the money". Kuyili told what actually happened and she said that: "I returned the money that Ramesh stoled from Mohan as he planned to marry Darshini using this as a ruse". Kuyili then said to Shwetha: "I've already told what had happened to you and now I demand to know what you're up to".

Shwetha then tells her about every single incident that happened in Palangi Malai up to now and she said that she wants Aravind and Darshini to be together (Aravind ❤️ Darshini) for the betterment of the world. After knowing this Kuyili tells that's also the reason why she's here and she reveals her background. Both of them come to an agreement and decided to be friends.

Shwetha later meets with Darshini on her way to see the Siva Archarya and becomes friends with her and after this she informs him that soon she will bring Aravind and Shwetha to the ashram and the Siva Archarya says that he will make sure both of them remains together.

Ramesh who was on his way to office was imagining that the whole family would be really worried about the money gone missing and decided to find out by calling Mohan but to his surprise Mohan tells him that he is in his office and has paid the money for the business project. This shocks Ramesh who deliberately checks the money in the place he has hidden only to find it empty. He then suspected that maybe Kuyili might have taken the money from his car.

Bhadra who was following Darshini all the while reached at her house and noticed Kuyili aka Sugumadhapura transforming into a pigeon. His brother was shocked to see this and Bhadra confirms that this is the pigeon that has the feather which contains the written words that can release his guru Rana Maayan from his current curse.

Kuyili aka Sugumadhapura was summoned by Jyothirlingam who wanted her to tell him what is happening in the household of Darshini and Sugumadhapura updated him about everything and also the meeting of Aravind and Darshini but tells him that both of them are working for Yaksha who is under the control of Alangariamma. Jyothirlingam tells Sugumadhapura not to worry and that everything would happen good for the good people.

The next day Bhadra and his brother arrived at Darshini's house when she's not there to capture the pigeon but his plans gets backfired as he was captured by the people who called the police that arrested him and his brother later on. Somehow with the blessings and grace of his guru Rana Maayan he was released from the police custody.

The scene shifts to the palace at Yaksha's personal office where discussions are going in between the three of them. Alangariamma who notices this said to Pasupati that today she will capture Darshini in the secret chamber and lock her up after which she would easily make Yaksha and Aravind to get married and after the both of their child is born she is going to bath that child with the blood of Darshini.

Somehow her plans got backfired as she has locked up Sandhya (the wrong person) in the secret chamber who was discovered by Darshini and when she was about to inform the family members Alangariamma came around just in time freezing time for everyone except herself and she released Sandhya out of the secret chamber and brainwashed her into thinking that she was resting in her room.

Alangariamma moved away from the place and unfreezes the time for everyone who later noticed Sandhya walking down the stairs. When they asked her where she was all this while she said that she was having a good rest in her room which reduces the tensions of the family members. Later on, Alangariamma swears that she will somehow find a way to bring an end to Darshini as soon as possible even though she's continuously failing.

On the next day, when Darshini's grandmother was drying the clothes in the balcony she saw the doll of Amrutha transforming into an evil spirit threatening her but after she screams out loud the evil spirit doll disappears. After that, Darshini came upstairs and heard the whole story from her grandmother and confirmed the same telling that she and Kuyili have witnessed the evil play of the doll when they were at their old home. When her grandmother decides to tell the family members about this, Darshini stops her and told her not to tell anything and panic anyone as this would attract the evil dolls attention.

The scene now shifts to the incident happening in the palace Aravind and Darshini was discussing about their new project of decorating Yaksha's house with some statues Darshini suggested that it would be better to have these statues outside of the house as it would attract negative energies when it's positioned in the house. An agitated Alangariamma and a jealous Sandhya was watching both of them from different sides of the office room.

Later in the evening, Alangariamma has come up with a new plan in killing Darshini by bringing Yaksha under her evil influence to be her obedient pawn that listens to her orders. She brings an Arathi around Yaksha for a few times and the smoke causes certain dizziness for Yaksha while bringing her under her control.

Once Yaksha has entered the car and was driving Alangariamma's evil powers comes into play taking control over Yaksha who proceeds to drive fast to knock out Darshini who was walking in front of her car but before anything bad can happened Jyothirlingam's disciple came in between making Yaksha to put a sudden break and stop her car while breaking her out of the evil trance.

Yaksha then decided to go back to the palace to take a good rest before going to her office. When she returned to her room she still can hear evil voices and incantations. When she tried finding the source of the evil voices she noticed that her nose is bleeding terribly and she panicked calling her mother but instead of her mother, Alangariamma arrived and asked her what had happened. Yaksha shows her bleeding nose to Alangariamma, whom removed the bleeding with an incantation curing Yaksha albeit temporarily.

The scene shifted to Darshini who called Aravind and informed him that she wants to meet him at a park urgently and Aravind agrees. Once both of them arrived at the park Darshini tells Aravind about the spooky things that's happening in her house (about "Jinda the Evil Doll").

Unbeknownst to both of them they are noticed and followed by Shwetha who quickly informed the Siva Archarya about this and tells him that she will send him a photo of Aravind and Darshini together. Before she took the photo she called Darshini's brother, Mohan and told him to come immediately at the park as it's very urgent. The episode ends with Shwetha snapping the photo of Aravind and Darshini sitting together in a bench at the park. Dharshini told to Aravind that the doll killed her elder sister and tries to kill her grandma. Then she saw Ramesh{her brother-in-law} and move away from that place. Swetha then looks for Aravind and Dharshini but failed to notice them. Mohan then reaches the Subhash park according to swetha phone call and scold her. Darshini then went to her house and kuyili gaves them bracelets from the temple also finds a way to dispose the doll to sea.

Darshini then went to yaksha palace with the doll and when she starts working Jinda the doll without darshini noticing play at the hall and she went to upstairs and see subhash and massage his chin. He thinks that Lavanya{his wife}is massaging but when she arrive he was amazed and he told about her and leave it. Jinda then move to sit out and Alangariamma and Pasupati notice Jinda and she told about everything happens at dharshini house. When Sofia{ aravind office assistant} arrive Jinda makes dharshini angry with aravind and he slaps her and she move away to the sea and dispose Jinda but Jinda turns to a doll and enters dharshini house at night without anyone's knowledge and say to Amritha{niece of dharshini} that no one likes Jinda. Noticing this Paati and kuyili think that dharshini doesn't dispose her.

In the latest episode, Dharshini and Yaksha gained a new face through surgery after their unfortunate fire accident. Now Ayesha is acting as Dharshini and Anjana aka Nakshatra Srinivas is acting as Yaksha.

Yaksha comes to know that she was Queen Simharatna 2000 years ago. She also gains interest on Aravind whom she loved but was not able to marry 2000 years ago. On the other side Aravind and Darshini fall in love with each other. This irritates Yaksha and she plans to remove Darshini from her way. She also plans to remove Nirmal from her life somehow as with his presence she cannot marry Aravind. Yaksha starts acting intelligently. She plans to gain Darshini's belief and betray her. As a sequence she bribes an astrologer to advise Darshini and Aravind to go to a hill temple for their better marriage life. There she appoints goons to kill Darshini. But unfortunately her plans go in vain. Finally Yaksha tries to gunfire Darshini at the temple itself but she gets hit by a wood log thrown by Siddha jyothirlingam (who appears there out of nowhere) due to which she faints.

Then the siddha advises Aravind and Darshini to get married the very moment. They obey though they hesitate initially. As the astrologer bribed by Yaksha also said that Aravind and Darshini should not consummate their married life for one year or else it will become a threat to Aravind's life, the couple decides to maintain a distance. After the marriage in temple they stay in the same village head's guest house for a night as there is a heavy rainfall. Darshini catches heavy fever and as there is no hospital nearby an old man says to Aravind to keep her body warm or else it's a threat to her life. Being pushed by circumstances Aravind consummates their marriage to keep her body warm. An infuriated Darshini shouts at him but becomes normal after Aravind explains why he did so. But she asks Aravind to promise that he won't reveal to anyone that they both got married. Aravind promises.

The next day Aravind wakes up only to find a letter from Darshini that she'll come back after a year and not to search her. A heartbroken Aravind lodges a complaint in the nearby police station at the mean time Yaksha calls Aravind. Aravind says that Darshini's gone missing but doesn't reveal that they are married. An excited Yaksha thinks that her goons had kidnapped her and calls them. But it turns out it is not them. They go in search of Darshini and at a rural place Darshini gets surrounded by the goons. From nowhere comes a Muslim man who fights the goons and takes Darshini's house. Darshini at first hesitates to enter his house. He says that he had a daughter of her age. His wife and daughter dies in an accident last year.

Darshini enters the house and calls him 'Vaappaa' meaning Father. He gets joyful and says his daughter used to call him so. After a few twist and turns it is revealed that the man was Sultan Bhai, the army general of Queen Lakshmi Prabha (who is reincarnated as Darshini) 2000 years ago. He aims to tell Darshini about her reality and reunite her with Aravind. Knowing that Darshini is accommodated in Sultan's home, Yaksha's goons kidnap her. Sultan rescues her. In the meantime Yaksha plans to get married to Aravind and challenges Sultan over phone that he won't be able to stop her marriage with Aravind.

Sultan drives along with Darshini to stop the marriage without revealing the intention of Yaksha to Darshini. While on the way to Yaksha's marriage Sultan Bhai came across a heavy traffic with police forces waiting at the end of the road. He found out that the police officers were in search of him and told to Darshini to follow the police to Yaksha's marriage while he'll be coming behind as he got some important work (Sultan Bhai knows that this is a trap set by Yaksha to capture him and to avoid the capture he need to tell Darshini such a reason).

Once Darshini arrived at Yaksha Mahal, she came to know that Yaksha's marriage has been halted by Nirmal's refusal to marry Yaksha and Yaksha is terribly embarrassed by this humiliation in front of the guest who attended her wedding. During this time Yaksha's family members begged at Aravind to tie the knot on Yaksha's neck. When Yaksha came to know this she fiercely objected their insensible act and said that she would not betray her best friend Darshini in any case and she further states that they should not force Aravind into any decisions as he has the full rights to take his own decisions. Darshini who witnessed this whole incident was shocked to notice what was happening but she hides herself before anyone can notice her.

During this moment, Aravind tells Yaksha and her family members that he needs 10 minutes to think about it in his room and he proceeds to his room while being in a dilemma whether or not should he tell Yaksha about his marriage with Darshini. Suddenly there was a knock at his door and he discovered that it was Challappa who brought the Vesti and Malai (Marriage Costume and a garland of flowers) and also told him that Mandakini was the one who told him to give this to Aravind (in the hopes that he would give a life for her daughter Yaksha). Aravind tells Challappa to call Yaksha as he has got something to tell her. Challappa informs Yaksha who proceeds to Aravind's room. Aravind hears a knock on his door and he was shocked, surprised and also happy to see Darshini. He told her the situation of Yaksha to Darshini and Darshini said that she knows it and asked Aravind to marry Yaksha citing that Yaksha has already gone through so much of embarrassment and he must agree to marry Yaksha.

Both of them end up arguing and finally Darshini threatened Aravind that if he never marry Yaksha she would commit suicide. Aravind was flabbergasted. Just then, Yaksha arrives at Aravind's room just to discover Darshini in Aravind's room. A happy and surprised Yaksha welcomed her friend to her home and told both of them to get ready for both of their wedding while citing that she wasn't lucky enough to get married to her betrothed Nirmal and Darshini says that Aravind has gotten ready but the marriage would be with Yaksha not with herself (Darshini). Yaksha was shocked but Darshini stood firm with her decisions and Yaksha's marriage with Aravind happened successfully without any obstacles and Sultan Bhai was only able to witness the marriage and at the same time getting arrested by the police while berating that Darshini has taken a wrong decision by making Yaksha and Aravind to get married.

After the wedding, Darshini leaves Yaksha Mahal in a taxicab and she buys sleeping pills at a pharmacy and consumes excess pills only to be discovered by Aravind who was following her. He quickly brings stupid Darshini to the hospital for treatment but Darshini wasn't in a serious condition. Yaksha's family members (Mandakini, Subhash and Lavanya) came to know about this through Nirmal's father who talked bad about Aravind but they extended their support to Aravind and told him that they would never suspect him as he was the one who saved their prestige when Nirmal abandoned the wedding half way.

Later Aravind, Mandakini, Subhash and Lavanya brought Darshini back home. Now the scene shifts to Yaksha Mahal and it's revealed that Kalanthakan has gained his first part of his body that's his both hands. Once Darshini returned and enters the palace, Kalanthakan hands traveled behind her and he placed his palms on the car implying that he is closely watching her. In the evening the police came to Yaksha Mahal and told them that they need to bring Darshini to the police station as they have captured the man who have kidnapped Darshini and needs her to confirm the man as her kidnapper. Once she reaches the police station she gets shocked to see Ameer Baasha aka Ulta Bhai in the police station. She tells the police officers that Ameer Baasha is the one who saved her from the goons.

When the police asked her whom was the goons, Darshini said that she doesn't knows but Ameer Baasha says that he knows who was the main mastermind and frames that Yaksha is the one who ordered the goons to capture Darshini but Darshini firmly told Ameer Baasha that Yaksha is her bestie and she was the one who was concerned about her (Darshini's safety) she writes a statement in the police station and then she tells Ameer Baasha that he will come to know that Yaksha is not the person he thinks her to be when he sees her at her palace and Ameer Baasha confirms the same that they both are going to the palace now and he swears to himself that he will never let Yaksha and Aravind to consummate tonight.

On the same night Yaksha's family members arranged the shanti muhurtham for both Yaksha and Aravind but Yaksha disagreed with their decisions and told them that they should give Aravind some space and not force him as she really understands that Aravind had gone through a rough and tough time. When Rana Maayan and Alangariamma confronted Yaksha about her decisions she said that she's doing the right thing and told them to follow her once she reaches the place she tells Alangariamma to call her son Kalanthakan out. Once Kalanthakan appears, Yaksha tells Kalanthakan her problems to which Kalanthakan uses his black magic powers and summons a black liquid in a container and instructs Yaksha to mix it with the cup of milk she's going to serve Aravind and tells her that Aravind will automatically be intoxicated by the effect of this liquid and become submissive to her.

Yaksha does as per Kalanthakan's instruction and serves Aravind who started to imagine that Yaksha is Darshini and proceeds to the room to consummate with her but once again his actions were halted and spoiled by Jyothirlingam's interruption who caused a lightning strike and thunderstorm. Aravind storms out of the room and leaves Yaksha depressed and disappointed who informs this to Rana Maayan and Alangariamma. Rana Maayan tells her not to worry as he will put his plans to work on the next day. At the same time Aravind decided to leave the palace out of guilt because he thought that he did the wrong thing but without him knowing he was closely observed by Yaksha who suspected the same that he's planning to leave the palace. She plans to force him to consummate the marriage that very night as the episode ends.

The episode continues with Vappa coming back together with Darshini just as Yaksha is trying to lure Aravind to her room to consummate the marriage. Vappa sees Rani Simharathna aura through Yaksha's appearance but acts as though everything is okay infront of Darshini. He insists that he will be sleeping in Aravind's room together with Aravind thus stopping Yaksha's plans. The next morning Yaksha and Sultan Bhai aka Ameer Baasha (Vappa) argue about who will win and lose in the future, with both vowing and challenging each other. Meanwhile stupid Darshini is crying in her room like a coward while remembering the times she spent with Aravind as well as trying her best to forget him holding her thali, however when Aravind comes into the room she hides it away and tells him to just forget her. He is adamant and says he loves her but she believes that since he married Yaksha he has to live happily with her. Unable to do so he looks at her upset.

Both of them continue to argue and Darshini firmly says that she has already disposed Aravind out of her heart the moment he married Yaksha and tells off straight at his face to throw off the rubbish feelings of love he has on her (Darshini) and start to move on his new life with Yaksha. She also strictly told him to not hurt Yaksha's feelings anymore or he will earn her wrath as she can't bear to see Yaksha cry. After saying these she left the room leaving Aravind alone in the room. Later she comes across with Alangariamma who tells her that both she (Alangariamma) and Ardhanari (Rana Maayan) tried to console an depressed Yaksha but to no avail. Alangariamma asked Darshini to help out a depressed Yaksha. Darshini agrees and overhears that Yaksha has already overheard Darshini's conversations with Aravind by coincidence while she (Yaksha) was passing their room and starts to blame her own self (Yaksha) as being the main reason to have separated both of them (Aravind & Darshini) and she's in a dilemma state worrying how she's going to manage the situation if ever her mother or family members find out what has been brewing in between of Aravind and Darshini.

Yaksha also tells that she'll sacrifice her life so that Aravind and Darshini will get to live together and when Rana Maayan tells her not to come to such a decision Yaksha said that she would not commit suicide as this would only make both of Aravind and Darshini extremely depressed throughout their life but she will live somewhere faraway in the corner of this world thinking about both of them (Aravind and Darshini). Darshini who was extremely emotional from earlier events was really touched by Yaksha's words and decides not to be an obstacle to both Yaksha and Aravind by leaving the palace together with Vappa without saying a word to the family members. Vappa who was in an extremely difficult position vows that somehow he would try to prevent Yaksha from ever consummating with Aravind even though he will not be in the palace. Rana Maayan and Alangariamma feels very happy that Sultan Bhai and Darshini have left proceeds to tell Yaksha that she can go to her Kula Deivam temple peacefully with Aravind.

While in the Kula Deivam temple Yaksha told to Aravind that she had not expected Darshini to leave the palace without telling them a word and she tells Aravind not to misunderstand her as she brought Aravind to her Kula Deivam temple (as Yaksha doesn't want her mother and family members to misunderstand both of them) when she should have given him some space as he has been going through some dilemmas lately. During this moment, Aravind for the first time tells her that Darshini doesn't understands himself better than Yaksha had all this time and also said that he would never misunderstand her. Later, while the achariyar was taking aarathi for both Aravind and Yaksha, he asked Aravind for his Birth Rasi & Nakshatra, Aravind told the achariyar that he doesn't know as he was brought up in an orphanage home and doesn't have anyone who knows or cared about him during his childhood years. Yaksha told him that she will always be there for him irrespective of what will happen and she doesn't want to hear Aravind say that again. Aravind says sorry and Yaksha tears sincerely for the first time touched by his humble background.
