Maulana Aazam

Maulana Aazam (Arabic: مولانا أعظم) is a Muslim scholar and a mufassir of the Qur'an, born on Monday, 26 March 1945 (11 Rabi Al Sani in the Islamic year 1364 AH).

His full name is Muhammad Ubaidullah Nahrikarezi, Janfidaa Naqeebi "Aal e Sultan" (Arabic: محمد عبيد الله النهركاريزي، جانفداء النقيبي "آل سلطان"), a quorum of Ulamaa, Mashaaikh and a major number of his students and followers give him a titles of Maulana Aazam, he is also known as "Maulana Sahib Nahr e Karez Sharef", "Maulana Sahib Pishin" and "Maulana Baba" etc.

Maulana Aazam is a writer of the history of Afghanistan, he wrote more than four hundred books including tafseers of The Holy Qur'an like Naqeeb Al Tafaseer, Tafseer Al Aazamain, Tafseer e Naqeebi and Noor Al Tafaseer and several short works on different tropics. He is a member of the Pashtun Davi tribe.
