Mary Ruth Mayhew

Mary Ruth Mayhew, also known by her married name Ruth Head, or 'Mrs Henry Head', was a novelist also known for her marriage to the neurologist Henry Head.

She is depicted in the novel Regeneration by Pat Barker, which features Head's experiments on nerve regeneration with fellow neurologist W.H.R. Rivers.
