The band Opa recorded Magic Time, their second album, in February 1977 at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California. The album was released in 1977 on Milestone Records.[1]

History

At this time, the members of Opa : Hugo Fattoruso, Osvaldo Fattoruso and Ringo Thielmann, were joined by Rubén Rada as a full-time member of the band on vocals and percussion. Airto returned to play percussion with the band also including guitarist Barry Finnerty and, on the track Arisa, Airto's wife Flora Purim performed vocals. Together they recorded the album: Magic Time.
