The Mac Diarmida Stakes is a Grade II American Thoroughbred horse race over a distance of one-and-three-eighth miles (11 furlongs) turf open to horses age four and older held annually at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The event was held in January but since 2017 it has been run in early March.

History

Inaugurated in 1995, for the first two years at a distance of one-and-one-sixteenth miles. In 1997, wet weather forced the race to be moved from the turf course to the main dirt track and set at a distance of one-and-one-quarter miles. In 1998 the race was set at its present distance of one-and-three-eighths miles.

For 2001, the race was put on hiatus.
