MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership is an advocate and resource for mentoring in the United States. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.

Background

MENTOR shares information, national standards, and best practices about mentoring. It works with organizations that directly match and oversee the mentor-mentee pairs, and helps coordinates the pairing of mentors with students. MENTOR co-founders Geoff Boisi and Ray Chambers each received the Lewis Hine Distinguished Service Award from the National Child Labor Committee (NCLC) for a lifetime of outstanding service to children.
