Lyudinovsky District (Russian: Людиновский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 955 square kilometers (369 sq mi).[4] Its administrative center is the town of Lyudinovo.[2] Population: 45,041 (2010 Census);[5] 4,864 (2002 Census);[8] 6,418 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Lyudinovo accounts for 90.0% of the district's total population.[5]
