Luv'in the Black Country is a short documentary that travels down the Black Country canals speaking to five different people who pass along the way about the first time they fell in love. The film is a lyrical love letter to the Black Country, its people and their fading identity.[1]

The documentary was produced by the film making collective Black Country Cinema and is part of a series of films about the Black Country region of the UK.[2]

One of the last films to be financed by the UK Film Council before the British Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt announced its abolishment in 2010.[3]
