Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School is Grade 7-12 public school in Barrhaven, a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2009, it is the first school in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) to encompass grades 7 through 12.

Faculty

The school opened in September 2009 providing services for Grades, 7-12. The staff has grown to over 100 and the student population exceeds 2000. In 2013 it was announced that Longfields would be receiving a 15.2 million dollar expansion to accommodate for the growing student population.

Sports

During the fall season of the 2014-2015 school year Longfields had 4 teams qualify for Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) championships. The Senior Boys Soccer Team, Senior Girls Basketball Team, and the Varsity Girls Field Hockey team all brought home city championships and the Senior Boys Volleyball team finished 2nd in the city to Lisgar after losing 3 sets to none in the city finals.

Arts

Longfields' drama program has put on a variety of different plays and musicals. 2009-2010: Musical, Little Shop of Horrors. 2010-2011: Play, Midsummer Night's Dream. 2011-2012: Musical, Lucky Stiff. 2012-2013: Play, Seven Stories. 2013-2014: Musical, Zombie Prom. 2014-2015: Play, The Laramie Project. 2015-2016: Musical, In the Heights. 2016-2017: Play, Almost Maine.
