- Hakaniemi market hall is one of Helsinki's most famous market halls.
- Heureka (actually located in Vantaa (Vanda)) is a science center featuring exhibitions and an IMAX theater.
- Hietaniemi/Sandudd is a popular beach within a walking distance from the downtown.
