  • Natyaguru Nurul Momen: (25 November 1908 - 16 February 1990): pioneer of progressive culture, theatre, literature, drama, satire and broadcasting in Bengali society.
  • Sukanta Bhattacharya (15 August 1926 - 13 May 1947): He was a Bengali poet and playwright.
  • Jasimuddin: (1 January 1903 – 13 March 1976) was a Muslim Bengali poet, songwriter, prose writer, folklore collector and radio personality.
