The extension of the line from Amadora Este to Reboleira on the Lisbon–Sintra railway was opened on 12 April 2016. The plan also included expanding Reboleira train station in order to become an important transfer station.

  • Yellow Line:
    • Rato – Estrela – Infante Santo – Alcântara Mar.
  • Red Line:
    • Moscavide – Portela – Sacavém
    • Aeroporto – Alta de Lisboa – Lumiar (thus splitting the red line into two and making another connection with the yellow line in Lumiar).
    • São Sebastião – Campolide – Amoreiras – Campo de Ourique.
  • Green Line:
    • Telheiras – Horta Nova – Pontinha (thus making another connection to the blue line in Pontinha)
