List of ''Blessings'' episodes
MediaCorp Channel 8's television series Blessings is a time-travelling drama series produced by MediaCorp Singapore in 2014. The series tells a story of a pastry-maker in 1948 who accidentally time-travelled to 2014 Singapore and helps to salvage the family business back on the right track, and finds love in the modern world.
As of 19 August 2014, all 20 episodes of Blessings have been aired on MediaCorp Channel 8.

"Xi Ji" is a traditional Teochew pastry shop run by the fourth generation of Lians, Daxi (Chen Hanwei) and Shuangxi (Yao Wenlong). Daxi is in charge of baking, while Shuangxi manages marketing and sales. Business has dwindled over the years and they are in debt. Daxi is overjoyed when Shuangxi clinches a deal to prepare 1000 gift boxes of pastries for Teochew boss, Mr Cai. Time turns back to the year 1948. "Xi Ji" is a popular traditional Teochew pastry shop. The founder, Lian Xuegeng (Li Wenhai), manages the business well, and his son, Wending (Shaun Chen), is good at making the pastries. Wending is in love with songstress Lin Xiaomei (Jesseca Liu), but knows Xuegeng will never allow him to marry her. He does not even dare to object to being matchmade with Sun Xiulan (Sora Ma). Wending hopes to take Xiaomei as his second wife, but she is unwilling to become a concubine, and breaks up with him. Wending is so affected that he scalds himself while baking. | ||

| Wending thought career woman She Meiren (Jesseca Liu) was his love from the 40s, Xiaomei, causing her to mistake him as a pervert. With much difficulty, he finally reached "Xiji". He introduces himself to the Lian brothers as their ancestors, leading the brothers to think of him as one with mental problems. However, Daxi discovers that Wending has flair in baking and hires him. | ||

| Everyone is getting ready to prepare the pastries, only to find the machine has broken down. Daxi and Shuangxi are worried that they cannot deliver their orders in time. Wending suggests that these orders can be made manually and mentioned that there were two big wooden pounders in "Xiji" in the past. After a tedious search, Daxi found the pounders. The three of them worked through the night and finally managed to deliver the orders on time. | ||

| Daxi takes a liking for Ouyang Xuan (Youyi), who works at a nail shop. In order to see if Ouyang Xuan is the right one for Daxi, Wending looks for her at the shop. However, this leads to Ouyang Xuan thinking that Wending likes her. Upon finding out that Ouyang Xuan once dated a few boyfriends; he decides that she is not suitable to be part of the Lian family. Daxi gets angry with Wending for insulting Ouyang Xuan. | ||

| Meiren will soon open her cake shop near “Xiji” and Shini (Yvonne Lim) is worried that this will affect “Xiji”. Wending disagrees, thinking that the traditional pastry shop is full of warmth and will live up to the Lian family’s belief of “Thin pastry skin, thick bonds” (饼皮薄 人情厚). Daxi was shocked to hear that Wending knows about their family’s belief, and starts to suspect Wending’s background. | ||

| Daxi secretly conducts a DNA paternity test on Wending and his father Mengyong (Chen Shucheng), and the results confirms their relationship. When confronted, Wending has no choice but to admit. Daxi and Shuangxi accepts him with open arms, inviting him to stay with them. Although Wending is happy to reunite with his grandchildren, he is at a loss for words as he now becomes their younger brother. | ||

| Wending is unhappy that Daxi impersonate him to confess his love for Ouyang Xuan. Daxi is furious when he finds out that Wending rejected Ouyang Xuan and the two had a big quarrel. Daxi reminds Wending that he is only an illegitimate son and shouldn’t meddle too much. This causes Wending to walk away in grieve after hearing those words. | ||

| Shini’s cousin from Malaysia, Wenrou (Sora Ma) comes to work in Singapore. Wending finds out that she shares an uncanny resemblance with his fiancée, Xiulan and was shocked. Shini observes that Wenrou is interested in Daxi and wishes to pair them up, in order to increase her standing in the Lian family. Wending violently objects, but he cannot divulge the reason. | ||

| Shini tries to create an opportunity for Wenrou, and arranges for Daxi and her to watch a Teochew opera performance. Wenrou expresses her love for Daxi, and even tries to kiss him. This was caught by Wending and Shini. Shini is secretly delighted; Wending is shocked, but eventually accepted it. Daxi feels vexed and takes Ouyang Xuan’s bracelet out to look and ponder. He decides to forget about Ouyang Xuan and tries dating Wenrou. | ||

| The fabricated story by "Xiji" caused business to be bleak, much to the disdain of the customers. At the same time, there are reporters hounding the shop, pressing to see if "Xiji" will apologise to the public. Daxi and Shuangxi are at a loss of what to do. Wending takes the rap and apologizes, insisting that the issue has nothing to do with the Lian brothers. Wenrou now looks at Wending in a different light. | ||

| Shini wishes to do the accounts for Xiji. After discussing, both Daxi and Wending decides that she is indeed capable and agrees to her request. Shuangxi finds out after, and is surprised that Shini made the decision without discussing with him. He starts to feel Shini’s dominance, and thinks that she no longer respect him; hence feels a knot in his heart. | ||

| Due to much interaction, Meiren and Wending’s good feelings for each other deepens. Meiren thinks that Wending is interested in her but suspects that she is just a substitute for Xiaomei, hence tries to test him out. On the other hand, Wending does not dare to confess as he is not sure if he sees Meiren as Xiaomei, and he is hesitant as he is not from the present. His hesitation caused Meiren to feel vexed. | ||

| Wending tells Daxi about him dating Meiren, He encourages him to confess to Ouyang Xuan, stating that Ouyang Xuan might like a guy like Daxi and if he does not confess, she will never know. | It is Shini's father's death anniversary and she brings Alice to Johor Bahru to pay respects. Daxi and Shuangxi are also not at home. Taking the opportunity when everyone is not at home, Wenrou decides to take action and secretly spikes Wending’s drink. However, Ouyang Xuan accidentally drinks it. Shuangxi comes home drunk, and shares a passionate kiss with Ouyang Xuan who was under the influence of the drug. | ||

| Things get awkward between Shuangxi and Ouyang Xuan due to the kissing incident. Ouyang Xuan feels bad for hiding the incident from Daxi and wishes to tell him. Shuangxi stops her and both agree to keep mum, forgetting that it happened. However, this incident eventually still came to light. Shini and Shuangxi go into a great fight, and Shini leaves home in the moment of anger. | ||

| Wenrou requests for Wending to accompany her to run errands, but secretly arranges for Wensheng to rob them. Wensheng pretends to stab Wending with a knife, Wenrou rushes up to block Wending. Unexpectedly, Wensheng slips and causes Wenrou to be severely injured. Wensheng immediately flees but was seen by Meiren. | ||

| Wensheng looks for Wenrou in the hospital, requesting for payment. Wenrou blames him for her injury. Wensheng expresses that it was an accident and threatens to reveal the truth if she does not pay up. Wenrou has no choice but to give in. Wensheng meets Meiren on his way out and she finds him very familiar. She remembers him as the robber, and starts to suspect Wenrou. | ||

| Wending feels guilty towards Wenrou and decides to look after her for life. He breaks up with Meiren. Meiren is furious, stating that Wenrou is acting pitiful to gain sympathy and that she was the mastermind of the whole accident. However, she respects Wending’s decision. Wending feels terrible because of the breakup, but tells Wenrou that he is willing to marry her. Wenrou secretly feels happy that the plan worked out after all. | ||

| Wending is still unable to forget Meiren, and breaks up with Wenrou to get back together with Meiren. Wenrou pretends to accept, but bears a grudge against the two of them and plots to destroy "Xiji". Meiren discovered her plan and tries to stop her. However, both end up being stuck in a fire. | ||

| Wending worries that if he continues to stay in the present, history might alter and his grandsons will disappear. He asks for a breakup with Meiren and reveals that he is actually for the past.
