Lisa Honan

Lisa Kathleen Honan (née Burgess), CBE, is the Governor of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. She took up her post on 26 April 2016.[1] She was previously Head of Office in Kenya for the Department for International Development (DFID).[2]

She was named Lisa Phillips until she married Dave Honan on 24 February 2018 on Saint Helena Island, adopting his surname.[3]

Honan was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2016 Birthday Honours for services to international aid.[4]
