Lilin Station (Chinese: 栗林車站; pinyin: Lìlín Chēzhàn), previously known as Fengnan (Chinese: 豐南車站; pinyin: Fēngnán Chēzhàn), is a railway station currently under construction on the Taiwan Railways Administration Taichung line located in Tanzi District, Taichung, Taiwan. It will be open on 29 March 2017.[1]
Name
Lilin Station was originally going to be named Fengnan station (meaning "south of Fengyuan"). However, the station was located within Tanzi District, not Fengyuan District. Because of this, in July 2014, the station was renamed Lilin Station because it was located within Lilin Village, Tanzi.[2]
