Christina Aguilera concert chronology

The Liberation Tour is the fifth concert tour by American singer Christina Aguilera, and is her first in a decade[1] since her Back to Basics Tour back in 2006. The tour was launched to support her eighth studio album, Liberation. Aguilera shared that she will be joined by rapper Big Boi, best known as member of hiphop duo Outkast, on select dates[2]. Only North American dates have been announced so far. Aguilera has yet to announce international tour dates.

A few weeks before the tour started, Christina asked fans on social media what songs would they like to be added to the setlist. She also teased some photos and videos from the rehearsals. Aguilera made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on September 12 to promote. A website titled "Liberate Your Love" was launched on September 23, and fans attending the tour can submit their love stories.

The tour kicked off on September 25, 2018 at Hardrock Live in Hollywood, FL. A new unreleased song, seemingly titled "Wonderland"[3], was played as an interlude in between songs. At one point of the first show, the singer got emotional and expressed how much she has missed performing for her fans. After singing "Unless It's With You", she helped facilitate a proposal for a gay couple by inviting them onto the stage.[4]

On the first night of the New York City show, Aguilera surprised the fans by bringing Lil' Kim and A Great Big World up on the stage[5] to perform their respective Grammy-winning songs. Political couple Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton were spotted in the audience[6]. Lil' Kim appeared again on stage for the second night of the New York City show.

Two shows – Orillia, the only show in Canada, and Detroit – were cancelled due to Aguilera losing her voice[7]. She took to social media to express her disappointment, and promised to reschedule to those dates.
