Landhaura is a town and a nagar panchayat in Haridwar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

Landhaura State

Landhaura state was a kingdom of north India, which was founded by a Hindu Gurjar Raja.

When the area came under British occupation in 1803, it was ruled by Gurjar king Raja Ram Dayal Singh and "First Freedom Fighter" Raja Vijay Singh Gujjar. Their present descendant Kunwar Pranav Singh "Champion" is M.L.A. (4th term consecutively) in Khanpur Constituency and is Former Cabinet Rank Minister in the State Government of Uttarakhand. Politics

It is an electoral constituency of Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly of Haridwar district,[7] and the current MLA (4th term consecutively) from Landhaura is Kunwar Pranav Singh ; Former Cabinet Rank Minister in the State Government of Uttarakhand.[8][9][10][11]
