La Grey Zuliana

La Grey Zuliana is a well-known Venezuelan gaita, also known as the "Anthem of the Gaiteros" (Venezuelan gaita musicians). It was composed by Ricardo Aguirre,[1] and first recorded in 1968 by its author with the group Saladillo.[2]

According to Arnoldo Hernandez Oquendo, the music and the intro of the gaita belongs to Ricardo Aguirre, but the lyrics to Marcial Valbuena.

In addition, a Bass guitar was introduced for the first time in a gaita song.
