Kristiāns Rubīns (born 11 December 1997) is a Latvian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL. He previously played of the Medicine Hat Tigers of WHL.
Playing career
Rubīns played in Latvian and Swedish junior clubs, before moving to Canada to play for Medicine Hat Tigers of WHL. In 2018, he signed with the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL.[1]
International play
Rubīns represented Latvia on junior level. He was selected by Bob Hartley for 2018 world championships roster.[2] He made his WC debute on opening game against Norway.[3]
