Killeroo[1][2][3] is a fictional character who first appeared in the Australian comic book Captain Koala.[4] An adaptation of the original Killeroo has become one of the most recognised and iconic Australian comic book characters, featuring the work of folks like Ben Templesmith, Jon Sommariva, Andie Tong, Jason Paulos and Jason Badower and featuring at major conventions like Supanova[5]. All of the characters in the series were created by James Clifton.[6] Killeroo started as a Level 2 agent in Captain Koala #1, by issue #10 gets promoted to Level 1.[7] His stories follow in the same vein as the classic outback action series Mad Max.[8] He is now appearing in solo titles such as Killeroo: Gang Wars by artist Tim Stiles [9] Professional comic book artist Darren Close has created many comics featuring Killeroo.[10] The name Killeroo also appeared in Golden Age comics of Andy Panda[11]

The character has widely appeared in both print and digital formats over dozen of comics[12] in both his own titles[13] and anthologies[14][15]
