Ka'ohelo

In Polynesian mythology (specifically: Hawaii), Ka'ōhelo is a mortal sister of Pele, the goddess of volcanos, and the wife of He'eia.[1] Upon her death, she was transformed into the sacred 'Ohelo shrub.
