Ius abutendi

Ius abutendi, a term in civil law and Roman law, is an attribute of dominium or ownership, best translated as "the right to abuse." By this phrase is understood the right to abuse property, or having full dominion over property, or "the right to destroy or use up the res altogether."[1]
