Julie Nihill (born 1957 in Melbourne) is an Australian actress.
Biography
Cast in the multi award winning 'Careful He Might Hear You' led to her first lead role and award in ABC's 'Every Move She Makes' and the miniseries Bodyline (in which she appeared as Jessie Bradman, Donald Bradman's wife). After many films, stage roles and miniseries Nihill was cast in the role for which she became a household face: as publican and local councillor Chris Riley on the police drama Blue Heelers. Nihill was one of only two actors (the other being John Wood) to star in Blue Heelers from its premiere in 1993 to its finale in 2006. Most recently she has appeared in The Leftovers (series 3) and Picnic at Hanging Rock.
