John R. L. Allen

John Robert Lawrence Allen, FRS, FSA (born 25 October 1932) is a British geologist, and professor emeritus at Reading University.[1][2]

Honours

Allen was awarded the Lyell Medal of the Geological Society of London in 1980, and the Penrose Medal of the Geological Society of America in 1996. He was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London (FSA) on 21 November 1991.[3]
