John Francis William Rogers (born April 15, 1956) is an American businessman, serving as Executive Vice President, Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Board of Goldman Sachs.[1] He was Chief of Staff at Goldman to CEOs Jon S. Corzine and Henry Paulson. He is said to have been United States Treasury Secretary Paulson's closest advisor while at Goldman, as well as a member of United States Secretary of State James Baker's inner circle. He is a graduate of the George Washington University. He has held numerous posts in US government including Under Secretary of State for Management from 1991 to 1993.
