Joe O'Boye

Joe O’Boye is a former professional snooker player.

O’Boye defeated Danny Fowler and Barry West to reach the last 32 of the Snooker World Championship in 1989. He lost 10-6 to the seeded Silvino Francisco at The Crucible.[1]

O’Boye had previously reached the last 32 of the UK championship in 1988, where he lost to former world champion Dennis Taylor.[2]

O’Boye would often practise at a snooker club in Kings Cross along with the likes of a young Peter Ebdon and top 16 player Tony Drago [3]
