Jhansa
Jhansa is a town in Kurukshetra. It is situated on the bank of Shri Markanda River. Surrounding cities include Shahabad 18 km, Pehawa and Kurukshetra (20 km). This town is run by Gram panchayat of Jhansa. The main occupation of people is agriculture works. The surrounding villages are Shanti Nagar, Tangore, Mega Majra Gogpur and Ajrana. The basic needs of people fulfill by the town its own. The approx population of this town is 16,000 including outside people.
