Jet Ng (born 10 May 1998) is a Singaporean foil fencer.

Career

Ng attained a 5th-place finish at the 2015 Cadet World Championships (men's foil), the then-highest achieved by a Singaporean fencer, before Ywen Lau won the 2016 Cadet World Championships in Women's Sabre.

Ng made his SEA Games debut in 2017, winning an individual bronze medal in the men's foil individual event.

Ng as of October 2017, taken a break from competition as he is serving his 2-year National Service in the Singapore military, training to be an Artillery Officer.

Personal life

Ng was born on 10 May 1998 in Singapore. He attended Tao Nan School, Victoria School and Meridian Junior College.

Ng picked up fencing at age 8, after he walked past a fencing club and got interested. Ng fences in Z Fencing and got inducted as into the first batch of "Hall of Fame" in Z Fencing in 2015.

He is the nephew of acclaimed veteran actress, Huang Bi Ren.

He is currently undergoing his mandatory 2-year National Service. He is currently in Officer Cadet School (Singapore) training to be an Artillery Officer in the Singapore Military.
