Jessica Draskau Petersson is a speaker, researcher, coach, 2x Olympian. A Danish long-distance runner.[1] Her fastest marathon time was set at the 2015 Bank of America Chicago marathon, where she ran a time of 2:30:07.[2] She competed in the marathon at the 2012 Summer Olympics, placing 39th with a then personal best time of 2:31:43. Raced 2016 Olympic Marathon in Rio[3] She finished eighth in the marathon at the 2014 European Athletics Championships, setting a new personal best of 2:30:53. Draskau-Petersson holds both Danish and Manx citizenship.[4] She was educated at the University of East Anglia (LLB), the University of Idaho and the University of Waikato. Career includes lecturing law and is a Chartered HR professional. She has lived in many different countries and is fluent in three languages. She is coached by British coach Noel Stoddart. Previously raced Elite Triathlon and Duathlon resulting in multiple podium spots at World and European Championships.
