The Jerusalem Kings were an Israeli "American Football" Team, a member of the Israeli Football League (IFL).

The team was based in Jerusalem, Israel and uses Kraft Family Stadium as its home field.

A year after a rule was instituted limiting the amount of foreigners on any roster, the team disbanded after the 2014-15 season. Most players who wished to continue playing joined the Judean Rebels.

History

Kings vs. Underdogs in 2009

2008 season

The Jerusalem Kings started their way as the 5th franchise of the IFL, The 2nd Jerusalem based team (the 1st being the Jerusalem Lions). The Kings finished their first season 1-9.

2009 season

Finished the regular season with a record of 6-4 then moving on to take the 3rd place in the playoffs beating the Judean Rebels.

2010–2011 season

Falling just short in more than 3 games the Kings finished their 3rd overall season with a record of 1-9.

2012-2013 season

Finished in a three way tie for fourth place at 5-5 (along with the Judean Rebels and Haifa Underdogs. The Rebels and Kings made the playoffs, but not the Underdogs due to point differentials,) with three of their losses by 4 points. They beat the 8-2 Hatikva Hammers on a last second hail mary in the first round, then lost to the eventual champion Tel-Aviv Sabres in the semi-finals.
