Janki Vidya Niketan is a co-educational English Medium School (A unit of Janki Vidya Peeth Trust) The school has Play,Nursery and Primary sections right now. Pupils aged 3-13 yrs.pursue their studies here under the able guidance of our learned teachers. The school is gaining popularity by leads and bounds by dint of caring teaching staff and the Management Committee. The school is located at Sitanagar, Near P.W.D (I.B),Rajopatti,Dumra Road, Sitamarhi,Bihar, India.
It was established by Sri Dinesh Chandra Dwivedi after establishing JANKI VIDYA PEETH NYASin Dec 2016. The current Principal is Smt.Subhadra Thakur,Who is a retired Principal +2 Govt.Girls High School having experience of 35 years in education system.
The School Management follows is to-to the pattern of study prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education in English medium. Janki Vidya Niketan is making continuous effort for alround development of its pupils.
Nursery classes and Play Classes
The Nursery and prep children are not burdened with any formal teaching and are allowed to learn in a free atmosphere. Activities include music, dancing, listening to stories, handling materials, splashing colours on paper, playing with toys individually as well as collectively and role playing.
Junior Classes
There is a class teacher system in class I to III in which the concerned class teacher handles at least three subjects in the same class. This prevents compartmentalization of subjects.
To inculcate language skills, spoken English is emphasized. Stories are told, dramatized and drilled so that children learn new words and enrich their vocabulary.The academic programs are supplemented with co-curricular activities in which inter-house competitions are organised. Some of the facilities offered are:

- Communication skills - debates, declamation, education and speeches in English, Hindi and Urdu,

Primary Classes
The primary learners are exposed to a vibrant process of learning which promotes and develops creative thinking and rational understanding in them. The students are engaged in constructive activities which stimulate them intellectually. The different disciplines taught are English, Hindi, Math, E.V.S, General Knowledge and Computers. These widen their perspective to deal with real life situations effectively. A wide range of co-curricular activities are offered to the students to ensure their wholesome all-round development. These activities are incorporated into their Academic Time Table whereby they have an opportunity to learn the basics of these skills through regular exposures
Academic evaluation and assessment
The school has a system of continuous and comprehensive assessment. There are cycles of unit tests and terminal examinations including the final. Weightage is given to house/class assignments and projects. Students are promoted on the basis of the cumulative performance in the academic year.
Parents are kept apprised of the progress of their children through parent teacher meetings organised every term.
Admissions
Admissions are granted mainly in Nursery and play classes. However, if seats are available admissions to other classes are possible. Entry is decided by the age criteria laid down by the Bihar Government.

Science Laboratories
There are three laboratories for the three main disciplines i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Computer Center
Computer education is a part of the school curriculum. Computer education programmes have been introduced for students from class I upwards. One air-conditioned laboratories are equipped with computers, software and computer literature. A multimedia center for classes KG to III is held.
Music and Dance Department
There are rooms for vocal, instrumental, western music and Dance which are taught as art forms. Musical instruments are provided.
Auditorium
An auditorium has been added to the school. All the co-curricular activities are done here. There is space in the gallery for students to sit & see the program.
Activity room
The activity room is a room for tiny tots. Toys which serve an educational purpose are provided to the children so that they receive their first lessons to work and play together.
Play school
The school has a play school with swings, see-saws, climbing ladders, merry-go-round, and duck pool.
Playground
The school has facilities for Indoors and Outdoors games. The children can get coaching in basketball, table tennis, volleyball and cricket.
