Jalbani

The Jalbani ( جلباڻي )is a Baloch tribe that lives in Sindh.Balochistan.

History

The Jalbani tribe is a subdivision of the Baloch tribe of Rinds in the Sindh province of Pakistan.

Tribal leadership

Sardar Agha Khan Jalbani is the tribal chief of the Jalbani Baloch tribe. He hails from Masudero village in Ratodero taluk, Larkana District, Sindh.[1] He became leader in 2003, succeeding his father, Sardar Mir Allah Bukhsh Khan Jalbani. He urged tribal members to educate their children and put an end to feuds.[2]

In 2001 the Jalbani tribal chief, also interested in resolving long-standing disputes, successfully mediated a dispute between the Syeds and the Kohkhars. Eleven people had been killed during the course of the dispute.[3]
