The Islamic Azad University, Parand Branch (Persian: دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد پرند) is a private research university based in Parand, Iran. It is one of the largest and most reputable branches of the Islamic Azad University. The university focus is on IT Engineering, Civil Engineering , Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and cellular and molecular biology.

History

Islamic Azad University of Parand was founded in 2003. The University now has about 15 thousand students in 35 programs and gives out degrees at the Associate Degree, Bachelor, Master discontinuous, Masters. The university is well known for its Robocup teams and Hybrid vehicles.
