Ironi Nahariya (Hebrew: עירוני נהריה) is a professional basketball club based in Nahariya in northern Israel. The team plays in Israeli Basketball Premier League.
History
Nahariya, which was founded as Hapoel Nahariya has played in the Israeli Premier League for the first time in the 1991/92 season. The club played there for two seasons until they relegated to the second league and two years later relegated again to the third league. In the 1999/00 season, Nahariya has promoted back to the second season and in the 2001/02 season they came back to the Premier League, after eight years of absence.
In 2009/10 the team relegated to the second league again, after losing a playoff series against Hapoel Holon .
