Inderprastha Engineering College (also known as IPEC) is a private engineering college in Ghaziabad, India. It is ranked 17th in Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.[1] It was founded in 2000 and the first batch graduated in 2004.

The institute also offered BIS,BSS, MCA and BCA IN 2000.

First batch of BIS and BSS graduated in the year 2004. BCA and MCA first batches graduated in year 2003. BCA, BIS and BCA courses were affiliated from Dr B.R. Ambedkar University Agra, Agra, U.P. Whereas MCA 2003 batch graduated from Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow, U.P.

Earlier it was known as National Institute Of Engineering and Technology. In the year 2001, its name was changed from NSIT to IPEC. ( National Institute of Engineering and Technology to Inderprastha Engineering College)

Affiliation

The college is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.[1] The college was affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Lucknow until the university was bifurcated and the college came under the jurisdiction of the present university.

Infrastructure

The institute is residential with three boys' hostels and two girls hostels. It has a central small play ground. Each department has one building which houses the lecture halls and labs.
