Ian O'Reilly (born 10 September 1999) is an Irish actor from Moorehall, County Mayo. He is best known for starring on Irish sitcom Moone Boy, co-written by and co-starring Chris O'Dowd.

Career

Since 2012 Ian has played Padraic O'Dwyer in Moone Boy, an Irish sitcom. In January 2013, he (along with Moone Boy co-star David Rawle) appeared in Bressie's music video for his new single "Show Me Love".[1] In 2015, O'Reilly was a guest presenter on TRTÉ's Swipe TV for nine weeks along with Rawle.[2] In 2014, O'Reilly and Rawle presented an award at the IFTA ceremony.[3]

O'Reilly is set to star in a leading role in the upcoming feature film Zoo . The Film is currently in Production.[4]

Personal life

He has one older brother and is the son of Katie and John O'Reilly. O'Reilly has been attending drama classes at All Stars Academy of Performing Arts in Ballyheane since the age of 11. O’Reilly’s social media handle is @ianoreil on Twitter and Instagram.[5]
