Choi Woo-jin (Oh Jung-se) lives in quiet resignation of a life full of failures. He spent 10 years studying for bar and civil service exams but now works at a medium-sized company. He likes Ga-yeon (Lee So-yoon), a colleague, but is rejected by her. Only Sa-rang (Kim Seul-gi) from the accounting department shows great interest in him but he ignores her. One day, he goes to the hospital after experiencing pain in his stomach and is diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. While shocked by the news, he eventually decides to live his life fully. He quits his job, withdraws all his life savings, books a hotel suite and decides to live extravagantly for the remaining three months. However, Sa-rang, who still likes him a lot, is not giving up on him yet.[1][2]
