The masked hamlet (Hypoplectrus providencianus) is a species of fish in the Serranidae family. Although previously reported to be endemic to Colombia, it has recently been observed on the southside reefs of Little Cayman Island and Grand Cayman (Devil's Grotto, July 29, 2015).
