The Holy Rollers N.Y.B. is part of the Mummers Parade which has been held each New Year's Day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since 1901. Local clubs (usually called "New Years Associations" or "New Years Brigades") compete in one of four categories (Comics, Fancies, String Bands, and Fancy Brigades). They prepare elaborate costumes and moveable scenery, which take months to complete. This is done in clubhouses, many of which are located on or near 2nd Street (called "Two Street" by local residents).

The Holy Rollers N.Y.B. club was founded in January/February 2007. They are a "wench" Brigade that marches under the Comic Division in the Parade with Murray Comic Club. They are one of the few wench brigades that accepts women.
