Hino Kumazō (日野 熊蔵, June 9, 1878 January 15, 1946) was a Japanese inventor and aviation pioneer. His most famous invention is the M1908 pistol. Most of his records were lost when Hino's home in Tokyo was fire bombed during World War II. Hino died in 1946 due to the mass poverty and widespread malnutrition in post-war Japan.
