Hampden Railroad

The Hampden Railroad (1910−1921) was built in Massachusetts by the Boston and Maine Railroad and New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad (NYNH&H).

It was chartered in 1910, and leased to the Boston and Maine RR in 1911, as a route from the Central Massachusetts Railroad east of Bondsville, and heading west-southwest to Springfield, Massachusetts, to connect to the NYNH&H's Hartford and Springfield Railroad, which was then known as the New Haven-Springfield Line .
