The yellow-edged moray (Gymnothorax flavimarginatus) is a moray eel of the family Muraenidae, found in the Indo-Pacific Oceans at depths to 495 ft. (150 m). Its length is up to 7.87 feet (240 cm). This moray eel was recently identified as natural predator of the lionfish Pterois miles in its native habitat in the Red Sea.[1]
