Guaros de Lara is a Venezuelan professional basketball club, that is based in Barquisimeto, Lara, Venezuela. The club competes in the Venezuelan LPB.

History

In 2016, Guaros de Lara won the 2016 FIBA Americas League championship, and was crowned as Latin American champion for the first time.[1] Following their FIBA Americas League championship, Guaros also won the 2016 FIBA Intercontinental Cup, and thus they were crowned world club champions, after beating the Skyliners Frankfurt in the final.[2]

In 2017, Guaros successfully defended their Americas continental title, by defeating Weber Bahía Blanca, 88–65, in the final of the years' Americas League. Later, they won their first league title, by defeating Marinos de Anzoátegui, 4–2, in the Liga Profesional de Baloncesto finals. Afterwards, they won their first Liga Sudamericana de Básquetbol title, defeating Estudiantes Concordia, 3–1, in the finals.
