The Greater Manchester Women's Football League is a women's association football league in Greater Manchester, England run by a league committee. Matches are played on Sunday afternoons.[1]

The league is at levels 7 and 8 of the women's pyramid. The league promotes to the North West Women's Regional Football League and does not relegate to any league.

The league also runs Challenge Cup and League Cup competitions.

  • 2014: Middleton Athletic beat Chorltonians 2–0 in the final at Salford City FC.[2]
  • 2015: F.C. United of Manchester Women beat Little Leaver 3–0 in the final at Salford City FC.[3]

League Cup

The GMWFL also runs an Open Age League Cup competition.

  • 2012: Atherton Ladies FC won, beating Curzon Ashton Ladies FC 3–2 after extra time in the final at Salford City FC.[4]
  • 2013: Manchester City FC Ladies won, beating F.C. United of Manchester Women 1–0 in the final at Salford City FC.[5]
  • 2014: Middleton Athletic FC and F.C. United of Manchester Women shared the title after game was abandoned[6]
  • 2015: Chorltonians FC won, beating Beechfield United Ladies 2-1 in the final at Curzon Ashton FC.[7]
