Founded in 1886, Sadiq Egerton College (commonly known as S.E. College Bahawalpur) was named by the Nawab of Bahawalpur "Nawab Sadiq Mohammad Khan Abbasi IV" and Lieutenant Governor of Punjab "Sir Robert Egerton". It has a tradition of providing an education that uses academics, sports, and co-curricular activities as tools for character development. The college celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2016.
