The Government Polytechnic College Anantnag is a college affiliated with the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education, India. Its principal is Imtiyaz Ahmad Shaw, and it is situated on Anantnag-Dooru Road, Larkipora. Previous principals were Mehmood Ahmad Khan, Manzoor Ahmad Kumar and Vinod Azad. Initially the institute started its functioning from a rented building at the Dialgam, later it was shifted to proposed campus, larkipora after 2 months and was inaugurated by then technical education minister of J&K, Er RS Chib. Later on after 6 months the college was again inaugurated by Vikar Rasool Wani.
