Gearóidín Bhreathnach

Gearóidín Breathnach (Irish: [ˈɟaɾadʲin ˈβrahnˠax]) is an Irish singer that originally grew up in Rannafast, in the Rosses, County Donegal; she now lives in Ardveen, also in the Rosses.[1] She is renowned as a sean-nós singer and is a double winner of the Corn Uí Riada competition in Oireachtas na Gaeilge. Gearóidín is also an accomplished seanchaí. Her father Neddie Frank Mac Griana was also a very famous seannachie, and was a great source of her inspiration and love for the traditional Irish culture.
