Gary Timberlake

Gary Dale Timberlake (born August 9, 1948 in Laconia, Indiana) is an American former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher. He was originally drafted by the New York Yankees in the second round of the 1966 amateur draft. On October 15, 1968, Timberlake was drafted by the Seattle Pilots from the Yankees as the 48th pick in the 1968 expansion draft.

His Major League career lasted about one week, starting two games, on June 18 and 24, 1969, for the expansion Pilots against the Chicago White Sox. Timberlake gave up 16 baserunners (seven hits and nine walks) and five earned runs in six total innings pitched.

During his two Major League appearances, Timberlake compiled a 0-0 Win-Loss record, four strikeouts, and a 7.50 earned run average.
