Garden Suburb is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of the Newcastle's central business district in Lake Macquarie's North Ward.
History
The area had orchards and market gardens before it was developed in the 1950s. The public school opened in 1958. The suburb was formerly named Cherryville.
